About Lauren
Lauren is an innovative and creative media professional with a strong background in journalism, communications, and public relations. She currently serves as the Director of Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations for West Memphis Utilities.
Before stepping into her current leadership role, Lauren produced the 4:00 p.m. daily newscast at WMC Action News 5 in Memphis, TN. Her earlier experience includes producing newscasts at WREG-TV, News Channel 3, and serving as the Mobile Kettle Coordinator for The Salvation Army of Memphis and the Mid-South, where she managed seasonal campaigns and community outreach.
Lauren began her career in 2016 as a news producer in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at KNWA/FOX 24 News. After nearly two years, she joined the innovative 'NewsFix' team at CW33 in Dallas, TX as an Associate Producer. A proud native of West Memphis, Arkansas, Lauren returned to her home market just seven months later to continue her work in broadcast journalism.
